jasonmalli.com is back for a promising Year 2016! While some minor tweaking is still in the works, please enjoy checking out my recent and emerging compositions along with plans for new e-learning opportunities for beginning and intermediate woodwind and composition instruction. Also coming will be information about my services for creating sonic branding and other sound design needs.
This second generation studio performance was recorded for its inclusion in the Open Window sound installation, “Rock’s Role” (after Ryoanji) at the 2014 SEAMUS National Conference this March at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
Here’s a new piece in its stereo realization with a multichannel version in the works. The sounds are from my collection of studio and field recordings including a range from extended raindrops to the ever-fun creations made possible from the vintage Roland SH1-101 analog synthesizer.
